Update Details:
- New DesignThe AVM design has been changed to be Moving Blue Ball instead of the moving black dots that first appeared in May.
- AvailabilityUsers will receive a notification within the ChatGPT app next to the audio icon when AVM is available to them.
- New SoundsFive new voices have been added, which are Arbor, Maple, Sol, Spruce, Valebringing the total number of voices to nine. All the names are inspired by nature, reflecting AVM's goal of making interaction more natural.

- Improvements to voice comprehensionOpenAI has improved the system's ability to better understand different dialects, as well as improving the speed and smoothness of conversations.
- Personal ImprovementsFeatures can now be used Custom Instructions وMemory in AVM, allowing users to customize ChatGPT responses according to their preferences, as well as retrieve information from previous conversations.
Launch Notes:
- Sky Sound RemovalOne of the previous voices, Skywas removed after sparking a legal controversy with the actress. Scarlett Johanssonwho complained that the voice sounded like hers.
- Lack of video and screen sharing featureFeatures not included Video وScreen Sharingwhich was first showcased in the spring, is included in this update. OpenAI has not yet announced a release date for these multimedia capabilities.
Regional Availability:
AVM is not yet available in some regions such as European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.
